FAQ

Do your Domino systems have local Water Authority approval?

All Everything Water Australia (EWA) Oil/Water systems have Water Authority approval for discharge to Trade Waste. However, if you wish to recycle and reuse your waste water then the Water Authority may require additional information before approving a Domino WWR system. Additional information for example may cover, what the intended use of the recycled water is. Please note, recycled water is not potable water and is therefore not suitable for human consumption.

Are the systems built to Australian Standards?

All EWA systems are designed and built in our facilities in Brendale Qld to current Australian Plumbing and Electrical Standards. The VGS systems such as the VGS-NG, VGS-P and VGS-HC are available with single or three-phase electrical components depending on what is available at the installation site.

The larger systems, namely the Domino ICSEP, Micro and Maxi WWR use three-phase electrical components.

What size systems are available?

EWA manufacture the VGS-NG, VGS-P and VGS-HC as a ‘plug and play’ skid-mounted system with flow ranges from 700 L/hr up to 3000 L/hr. Our WWR systems are manufactured with flow ranges from 1500 L/hr up to 15000 L/hr and are available skid mounted or containerised.

Are EWA systems cost effective?

If your premises are connected to the sewer system and liquid waste can be discharged as Trade Waste, then the cost-effectiveness depends on the amount of trade waste generated. The average charge for disposal of 1L of oily water is 26-30 cents, plus the hourly rate for the truck, which can equate to $1000/month if your business generates 3000L/month of trade waste.

A 700L/hr VGS-NG can treat all of the business oily water waste so that it may be discharged as Trade Waste with a payback of less than 12 months.  If the business generates a large amount of wastewater, such as an Industrial wash bay, they may want to recycle and reuse the wastewater, thereby reducing the amount of potable water used the cost of the site’s water consumption and their environmental footprint. An EWA Domino Waste Water Recovery system can recycle up to 95%( depending on contaminants) of the wastewater a business generates.
