Everything Water Australia were invited to tender for a new water treatment project at the eco-sciences precinct.  A joint project between Department of agriculture and Fisheries and CSIRO.

The client was having inconsistent results with laboratory testing and experiments in their Pods and Ponds area due to variations and inconsistencies with the town and rainwater supply.

Department of Agriculture and Fisheries required treated water that provides a suitable water quality that remains consistent and clean for experiments to be conducted with no variables introduced from the water used to test with.

The solution

Everything Water supplied a 5KL a day Water softening and Reverse Osmosis water treatment plant. Treated water is stored in a treated water storage tank and on demand water is supplied to various outlets in the pods and ponds area. On site staff are now able to conduct experiments and testing with a  suitable and consistent quality of treated water.

The key elements of the project included:

• Plug and Play Water Softener unit
• Plug and Play Reverse Osmosis system
• All civil works and local Government approvals handled in house by EWA
• Stainless steel ring main and pipework installed, and retro fitted to suit existing systems installed
• Installation of new 10KL poly storage tank for treated water
